The Camillus Chunk 7.25" Folding Knife is one sturdy folding knife! Featuring a Glass Filled Nylon handle and 420 Steel Blade. 420 steel has good edge holding capabilities and is fairly easy to re-sharpen. Additionally, this steel strikes a good balance between blade hardness and corrosion resistance. To further elevate the base strength of the steel, it undergoes a titanium bonding process that adds additional resistances to rust and corrosion and makes the blade up to 3x harder than untreated steel. The bonding process also results in the blade gaining exceptional edge retention properties, so your blade can remain sharp across countless cuts. The glass filled nylon handle is also among our strongest and most rigid, thanks to the addition of glass filled materials to our proprietary blend of polypropylene, ABS, and other substrates.
